Arbroath edge seven-goal thriller

Arbroath came from behind to beat Dumbarton 4-3 and remain in pole position in the Division Two.

The Sons went ahead on five minutes when Bryan Prunty shot into the bottom corner for his fifth goal of the season.

The home side's lead lasted eight minutes as Lee Sibanda curled into the top corner from 20 yards.

Mark Gilhaney put Dumbarton back in front in the 17th minute, firing low into the net before Gavin Swankie made it 2-2 with another sweetly struck effort for the visitors.

The hosts were back in front when Kevin Nicoll rose highest to head home Scott Agnew's corner.

The Angus club equalised again 20 seconds after the restart when Swankie met Steven Doris' cross and shot home from 12 yards.

And they stole all three points when James Lyden fouled Doris, who picked himself up to smash home the penalty.
