Mark Docherty helps Dumbarton to vital victory over LivingstonMark Docherty grabbed a second-half winner as Dumbarton eased their Scottish Championship relegation worries with a 1-0 victory at home to Livingston.Docherty's 56th-minute corner went straight in as The Sons claimed a first league win in five attempts to move six points clear of the bottom two.In a game played with a swirling wind, Livi goalkeeper Marc McCallum produced two fantastic first-half saves.First he got a strong hand to Grant Gallagher's back-post effort before diving to keep out Gregor Buchanan's volley.Docherty then broke the deadlock with McCallum making further fine saves to thwart Garry Fleming, Gallagher and Tom Walsh.Livingston had a chance to level but Dumbarton goalkeeper Jamie Ewings saved well from Liam Buchanan with the resulting corner being cleared off the line
