Last updated : 19 November 2010 By BBC Sport

Dumbarton are facing a shortage of firepower for their 300th Scottish Cup tie, at home to Morton.Attacking midfielder Scott Chaplain is suspended, Derek Carcary, Paul Maxwell, and Mark Gilhaney are suspended and Pat Walker, a recent scorer, is ineligible.

Morton are missing only Hamilton Accies loan defender Grant Evans.

French midfielder Foaud Bachirou is fit again after nearly two months out with injury to give manager Allan Moore plenty of options.

Interim Dumbarton manager Alan Adamson: "We are a wee bit short up front but it is a game we are looking forward to.

"We have built up a head of steam in the league at home and will be looking to transfer that to the Cup, although I recognise we have to play at our best and Morton be below par for us to progress."

Morton manager Allan Moore: "We played Dumbarton at the beginning of the season in an ALBA Challenge Cup game and we had to progress via penalties.

"That should be enough of a reminder to everyone that this will be a tricky tie although their team and manager have changed since that game.

"They had a great result last weekend but in saying that if we play like we can we should be the side that wins."
